Re-purpose a frame or mirror.
The cards have started to arrive! Nothing like the anticipation of going to the mailbox in December.
I love displaying my cards and this idea, above, of reusing a picture frame is so clever. If you don’t have the time to paint it, just stringing some wee white lights from side to side, then hanging the cards would be beautiful.

A washi tape dream
What I love most about this yarn Christmas tree is the washi tape. Call me a bit of a hoarder of this awesome tape, but is there anything it can’t do?
Perhaps making a collage with the cards, using washi tape to stick them on the wall would be your style. How easy is that?! And no fuss cleaning up and taking down either. My kinda idea.

Vintage winter
You know I loved these vintage skis, right? And the fact that they were given another life as decor is brilliant. They offer a unique and artful way to display cards.
Maybe you have an old sled, snowshoes, or toboggan that could do the same trick? Send me a pic if you do, would love to see all your cards.

Chalkboard backdrop
Don’t be intimidated by how beautiful this chalkboard drawing is. I say let the kids go at it and see what magical winter landscape they come up with and go from there. What a great backdrop for Christmas cards! So creative.

Twinkle little lights
And this. Well, this is darling. The lights in a Christmas tree design, along with the ornaments and greenery, very cool. Whether you use it to display photos or cards, it is sure to remind you of the many friends and memories you’ve had over the year.

How do you display your cards?
Sydney
Those are so FUN ways to display Christmas cards. I don’t have a lick of creativity, but ‘seeing’ these…well, I may have been able to do that had I started earlier…he he
Barb
I bet you are wee bit creative Sydney, given what you do! 🙂 I love the skis so much, but then again, the chalkboard backdrop is so cool….yeah, I love them all too.

I love all these ideas. I’m looking for one that can accommodate a larger number of cards since I usually get 30 to 40. I usually place them all on a silver tray on the coffee table so people can look at them, but it doesn’t really do them justice. Merry Christmas!

Elinor, Lucky you to receive so many Christmas cards! What about around a door frame? Or strung as garland around your tree? Silver tray sure does sound pretty though! Merry Christmas to you too.
