My very own stamp! I was delighted (understatement of the year) to open up a recent letter and find these charming perforated stamps with my name on it. My mail cred has just gone way up.
Gifted to me by a kindred snail mail spirit (see how she started a Letter Writing Social at her library) Denise made my day.
After doing a bit of research I want to share with you how you too can get your very own custom perforated stamps. Jeff Uleau is the master behind The Perforated Post Etsy shop.
Jeff uses a vintage Southwork Perforator that is a table top machine that applies the pinhole pricks that are iconic to postage stamps. He told me he has traveled many miles to pick up his machine.
While not official postage these perforated custom stamps make unique and amazing return labels. Jeff also gets many requests to make stamps for events. Your imagination is the limit. Orders can be placed here.
