Stay cool is right! Time for popsicles and to punk post your summer. Punkpost is an online service that allows you to choose a real deal (vs electronic) card and then….the best part…an artist handletters your card with your message AND mails it for you.
Pick your card and let Punkpost do the rest
I have gotten to know one of Punkpost’s talented artists on Instagram and I love Brenna’s work. She was also kind enough to allow me a little behind-the-scenes glimpse of how it all happens.
As you can see, I chose the ‘Stay Cool’ card from the summer card collection but the options are limitless from Birthday, Tooth Fairy, Miss You, Holiday etc.
Talented artist writes card for you
Once you’ve picked your card…good luck with that, there are so many to choose from…you can then specifiy some design details for your card. I wanted to let Brenna do her thing so I picked ‘simple style’ and beyond that gave her creative license to design it.
You provide Punkpost with the message you want the artist to write on your behalf, as well as the address of the person you want the card sent to.
5 things you should know
I mean look at that popsicle – a rocket I think it’s called? So cute. A couple of other things to know before you punk post your summer
- You can preschedule batches of cards. What a life saver this option would be. No more forgetting someone’s Birthday.
- If you love lettering and have an artistic flair you can apply to be one of Punkpost’s artists.
- You can choose the style of handwriting for your card.
- Cards can be mailed on your behalf anywhere, but if outside the USA there is an extra $1.50 charge.
- What does it cost? Per card it is $5-7 USD. This includes a 270 character message, the stamp, the envelope and the handwriting (on the card and on envelope).
