I just couldn’t resist sharing these ideas and finds that I have recently stumbled upon. Take for instance this paper cut out laundry line. Adorable! Think of all the color combinations you could do. Recycle your old wallpaper or try vellum for a see through effect hung over a window. The whole idea here is to involve the kids in making a “laundry list” of things everyone might like to do this summer and then write them on the back of the clothes. Brilliantly creative. I have to admit that when I was a kid this is what my library card looked like. Something wistful about it now I think. Did you ever play “library” as a kid? I did. Collecting the fines for overdue books was the highlight. Leave a comment below and share your tale.
You might be able to find this journal at your local stationery store, but you may want to check out prices here on overstock.com
So thrilled to be showing you something from a cool little place located in Bancroft, Ontario, Canada. Revival Store is the genius behind these handmade gift tags.
The link I have included here will take you to their blog. I did this not to frustrate you but because I absolutely love their blog too!
So feel free to incorporate a little paper into your summer time fun!
P.S. Please know that I am not being endorsed or receiving any compensation for writing this post. I simply love this stuff and thought you might too. Hope you enjoy.

Barb, We always make a list of things to do in summer but may be a little late for the “laundry” list in our house. What a cute idea! And well, the library… loved taking the girls there in the summer and getting piles of books for them to read. Sigh! I am wistful 🙂
