Pretty in Pink
Some times I just like to look at something pretty. I’m going to allow myself a moment on this Saint Valentine’s Day to do just that.
Now, even if you haven’t written a letter in years, or ever, you have to admit there is something beautiful in this monochrome collection of stamps found over at la-belle-vie. Of course, I am partial to the lovely maple leaf in the bottom right hand corner.
Crush
I just need to tell you that I have a big crush on this Cocoa and Hearts notebook by MadebyGirl. Oh, what a romantic diary it would make! Perhaps it will inspire you to get out your paintbrush and get creative this Valentine’s Day weekend.
Hugs and Kisses
I love this XOXO garland by Paper Source as it is a bit different from all the heart themed garlands out there. Love those clothes pins too. I bet you and the kids could make your own version that would look just grand hung over a door way .
Maybe you have ended a letter, a text or email with the ever enduring XOXO, but did you know that people differ on what the two letters represent? A hug or a kiss —the debate continues.
For more interesting, random facts on the history of XOXO you will want to grab your chocolate and read this .
So, what do you think, is the X a kiss or a hug?

My kids can not read – yet. So are big Xs and Os around here. They can figure that one out. Even my two year old will ask for a X and O on rough days.
Love the color – perfect for V-Day Week!
