As you begin the ‘de-Christmasification’ of your home and wonder what to do with those Christmas cards you received, here are some fantastic ideas to consider.
1. Get out the scissors and cut the cards to make a wreath for next year like this one By Crafty Sy
2. Use the cards to make note pads. Follow this tutorial from Hope Studios
3. Another idea that involves scissors. Make next years Advent calendar with your cards. Love this ideas by Octavia and Vicky
4. Take that crate that held all those yummy clementines (or any box) and turn it into a festive storage container. Holly at CoconutHeadSurvivalGuide will show you how.
5. For those sweet photo cards from family and friends, see what Chris and Sarah of ParentsWho.com do with their cards.
6. Turn your cards into gift boxes. Hop on over to my Facebook page to see this fantastic idea by Noreen.
What do you do with your Christmas cards?

What great ideas – I’m drawn to the wreath idea but am no longer surprised as it seems to have been a bit of a wreath-fest here for me this Christmas so it’s only to be expected ☺️ Happy New Year! #paperypeep

Omg I love that wreath! I always make mine into gift tags for next Christmas. Blog post about this coming soon to Grace Grits and Gardening:))

Hi there Talya, I loved that wreath too. I can imagine it in a colour scheme too with extra paper leaves thrown in. Can’t wait to read about/see your gift tags. Will be sure to pop by. Happy New Year!

I really like #5. And I’m going to do just that! I usually just put a rubber band around my Christmas cards and slip them into my Christmas box of decorations, to take out and look at next Christmas. I just can’t bear to throw them out so soon after receiving them. Now they’ll be in my kitchen cupboard instead. Great idea!

I really liked #5 too Glenda. So special. I can’t bear to throw them out either!! I like your idea too about keeping them with the decorations to look at next year.
