It’s New Year’s Eve!
Crazy how we are on the cusp of a whole new year. Uncharted territory. A blank slate. Adventure. Hopes and dreams. All of it awaits.
Many of us make resolutions that involve doing or being less. Less busy. Less food. Less alcohol. Less complaining.
No wonder we all give up by January 31st. Instead, I’m going to go with ‘more’ this year.
1. More time with my kids on a one-on-one basis.
2. More things green in my diet.
3. More deliberate opportunities to give.
4. Extra moments to read.
5. More movement.
6. More sleep.
7. More putting pen to paper.
As we put away our Christmas baubles to make way for 2016, I wish you a year filled with more.
Do you make New Year’s resolutions?
P.S. It’s going to be a cozy night in for me. It will involve some bubbly, Yorkshire pudding, and maybe watching the movie “When Harry Met Sally.” What about you?

Nice one, Barb. I totally agree that we should focus on what we want, not what we don’t want to be doing. It creates a smoother pathway to satisfaction and happiness, to say the least!

Thanks Luci for taking the time to pop over and check out my corner of the blogging world. Appreciate it. Hope you are having a weekend full of ‘more.’

A great sentiment without setting unrealistic goals and setting yourself up to fail.
I decided to note the little moments in my day that made me happy or grateful and pop them into a jar. But I like your theme of just ‘more’ of the good things. Happy New Year and look forward to reading more of your blog in the coming year.

Hi there Julie and Happy New Year to you too! Thanks so much for taking the time to visit my little corner of the blogosphere. I love your grateful jar idea! So fun plus, what a tangible reminder of just how much we have to be thankful for. Have a lovely day.
