An addiction to all things digital
So unless you have been hiding under a rock this week you will know that Apple released its latest version of the iPhone. The latest and the greatest ringing in as No.6 in the series.
Now, I’m the first to say I love my iPhone, although I have to admit I do feel guilty about deserting my Canadian company Blackberry on the handheld gadget spectrum. I wanted to stay with them, I really did.
Anyway, the point of this post is that I think we have become like cats waiting for the latest new bobble to pounce upon. The iPhone is sold out in the US and isn’t even available in Canada yet. Did I mention that your new snazzy phone won’t even be shipped for 4 weeks?
Detox on Analog
And, so where am I going with this? Well, truth be told I am delighted that our obsession continues to grow with all things digital. Why? Because at some point people are going to realize it’s too much, and we are going to see this ‘turning of the wagons’ so to speak, back to all things analog.
I’m just biding my time.
What do you think? Am I completely crazy? Perhaps the Apple Watch is on your Christmas wish list?

OMG! I’m so happy to have stumbled upon this site today! Me and my two sisters are also addicted to all things paper, pens, writing and so forth! We don’t know where the addiction came from, but we all have it! I’m very happy to have found people of like minds so we don’t feel quite so crazy in our paper and pen hoarding habits. I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy your site a lot. Off to have a better look around….and send the link to my sisters of course!
Have a great day!
