Time to learn our A,B,C’s.
Instead of dreading the back to school frenzy I am going to embrace it. I love school supplies. It was something I looked forward to as a kid. In fact, every year I still sneak a little something for my “backpack” of stationery supplies at home. Take these wee matchbook jotters from Inkello. How nicely they would fit in my purse. Not sure which letter I would choose. Perhaps “C” for cool! 🙂
I love the month of September. Always have. Cool crisp air. Leaves falling. Bringing out the sweaters. Apples. Shipping off the kids to school. I try to limit buying school supplies to what is needed vs. what is wanted. But, I have to say, I would make an exception for these outstanding pencil cases found over at Mochithings. Wonder what folks would think if I showed up to the office with one of these?!
Yes, that’s right, I am just going to let you all know that come mid August I am ready for the kids to go back to school. Â God bless the teachers! Seriously, teachers have a huge influence and I am grateful for when my kids hit upon that special one. I read recently about giving a teacher a gift at the beginning of the school year as opposed to at the end of the year. I thought this was a great idea. What teacher wouldn’t appreciate a card like this one above from GlitterInk or some supplies for the classroom.

I love school supply shopping. This is the first year my youngest son wanted anything to do with it so I was ultra happy taking him shopping.

Such fun back to school finds! Thanks for featuring my card. I personally love to give fun teacher gifts all year round. Beginning of school, holiday time, end of year! Teachers deserve all the appreciation they can get.
PS – I too always find something in the school supply isle…I always had an obsession with a brand new package of markers/crayons….and still do! 🙂
