Move on over December here comes 2014.
The New Year in calendar style
I don’t have my 2014 calendar yet. Which got me thinking maybe you don’t either.
And so, with this in mind, here are a sampling of paper calendars, in a wide range of styles and designs, available to bring in your New Year.
Ever since I saw, what I have nick-named the ‘berry basket’ calendar, I have loved it. A clever idea by OneCanoeTwo.
Less is more
I like how this table top calendar by MonkeyMindDesign takes a minimalist approach to the shapes featured in every month. You could choose to display one at a time using the little stand, or skip that, and pin them up all at once to your office wall. You get to decide.
This hanging calendar by Night Owl Paper Goods is unique in that it is printed on birch wood. From the looks of their website it is on sale right now too! (Please check regularly as pricing may change).
Joy in each day
For a slightly different approach to each month in 2014 why not try what Ann Voskamp calls the Joy Dare for each month. This is where for each day of the month you seek out something you are grateful for and thus pursue joy. That would give 2014 a whole new perspective I think.
This is a larger, all months on one page, screen printed calendar by Chris Pecora. I’m thinking oil town in vibrant yellow on black.
Strike while they are hot
These pocket sized Matchbook Calendars by Inkello are printed on a letterpress and have perforated pages. I just love the size of these little guys.
Once a month postcard
Albertinepress came up with a ingenious design in their postcard wall calendar.
Once you are ready to flip the page, you can cut along a dotted line and turn it into a postcard ready made for you to send. I think they must have had me in mind when they came up with that concept. Smile.
Do you use a paper calendar? Which one shown here is your favorite?
