The perfection of a postcard.
Postcards are perfect. Really, they are. A quick and easy way to dabble in the lost art of letter writing. They are a no nonsense, get-to-the-point, charming way to say ‘hello’ from wherever you are.
Stamp it and go.
These beautiful, unique postcards by Cartolina are hard resist. How can you not want to slap on a stamp and send a wee bit of Canadiana across the miles?
Postcard collections.
Available wholesale, these postcards are from Cartolina’s “Old Timey Collection” so check your local, favorite paper place, or if you happen to be in Nelson, British Columbia, you could stop by yourself and pick up a stash.
And stash I have! I haven’t mailed one out yet. I’m feeling a wee bit selfish. In fact, I’m debating on whether to keep and try one of these ideas using postcards.
How about you, have you sent a postcard lately?
P.S. The stamps shown with the postcards are unused, out of circulation Canadian stamps. If paired together to add up correctly to the current cost of a stamp they can still be used today. How cool is that?! Add a miniature piece of art history to your outgoing snail mail.

I’m glad that I am not the only one who finds it hard to part with stationery I find unique. Most times if I find a design I like I buy 2….1 for me and 1 to give away. LOL! Postcards are the best!

Oh, thank you Stephanie, for affirming my slight (no, major) addiction to stationery! I’m sure I will send a couple of these off, especially to those who don’t reside in Canada, but won’t be able to part with them all….try as I might. 🙂 Thanks for stopping in.

I send postcards and receive them from all over the world. I just love it and have met so many kind, interesting and funny people along the way. I also send them as a quick hello to friends and family. When I hear that someone is going on a trip, I ask them to send a PC. It’s fun for them to do and great for me to add to my stacks and stacks of postcards. Annette

Your stacks of postcards sound so amazing Annette! Do you keep them in stacks as decor or put them up? How fun to receive from all over the world, almost as good as visiting those places in person.
