Centerfold

So, are you a poster junkie? Perhaps in your younger years you plastered your bedroom wall with posters of bands, the beauties you had crushes on (Charlie’s Angels anyone) or the sports star you idolized.

I remember I had a poster of John Stamos.  I bet I wasn’t the only one either. I had a friend who always got those teen type magazines with the pull out centerfold posters. I was so envious and was always dying to have one myself. As any good friend would do, she often gave me some to call my own – especially the John Stamos pages!

Do you remember this song? I dare you not to move in some way in your chair or even sing “Angel in the center fold…”

These “Retro Gals: Mods and Rockers”  series of posters are completely cool.  I love the red and blue tones, clever lines, vintage yet still modern.

I think I might even let my girls put these up in their room, on their walls,  certainly a nice change to the mop headed boys (who shall remain nameless) that I am always banishing to the back of bedroom doors!
