One of my favorite things to do here on the blog is to introduce you to some talented Canadian paper people.
First up is Crafted by Lindy. It is Calgary, Alberta that Lindy calls home. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Lindy in person and she is darling. A mom of three, she is a creative gem who manages a thriving Etsy shop.
Simple, bright, fun cards
The colours, the font and the designs of these cards all make me smile out loud.
I so appreciate a card that tells me to ‘eat cake.’ Right on! Six of these cards, including the delightful pineapple and kiss me could be yours. Keep reading to see what else you can win and how to do it.
Introducing paper pens
Although Nina lives a bit farther away, creating and designing in Toronto, Ontario, I feel as though I’ve come to know her through our many on-line conversations. Kindred spirits we are, when it comes to our love of stationery and letter writing.
I am completely taken with her new line of paper pens. Yes, paper pens, an eco friendly version of a disposable pen! She is generously donating two boxes (four pens in each box) to one lucky reader. One box will be the Forest design and the other a box of Mixed.
Here’s how to win both the card set and two boxes of paper pens:
1. Take a peek at Lindy’s art prints and let me know (by leaving a comment on the blog) which ‘critter’ you identify most with AND
2. From Jonesy’s collection of Birthday cards, which one would you most like to receive.
One winner will be randomly chosen from those who leave a blog comment as outlined above. You have until March 21st 11:00 pm MST to enter. One entry per person. Have fun!

Love the turtle critter – reflects my introvert on the Myers Briggs scale and the enjoyment I have in carving on time to be alone.
Love the zebra card – reminds me of all my travel to AFrica in the past.
Barb
As one introvert to another Joan, I can also completely relate to the turtle. 🙂
JarieLyn
The critter I most identify with is the green dinosaur because he looks like he doesn’t have a care in the world. It reminds me that I need to be more childlike and toss some of my cares out the window.
The birthday card I would most like to receive is the dream catcher. I’ve always liked dream catchers and I daydream a lot.
Barb
Dreams and dinosaurs, I like both JarieLyn. And, you have reminded me to toss some cares out the window too… 🙂
Angi Craig
The green turtle and the 403 queen, birthday card were my favs!
Barb
Great choices both Angi, thanks for entering and have a lovely weekend.
Lindsay Stark
I think I most identify with the fox print, for the obvious reason that it has orange hair (as do I) and because it is like a small dog, and I am a dog lover.
I like the zebra with the Tiffany blue party hat card to he most.
Sending love from London!
Barb
What a treat to have you pop in for a visit Lindsay! I can completely see the fox comparison…beautiful orange hair indeed. xoxoxo and some more xoxooox

I just love your blog! I’ve always considered myself an “old soul” because handwritten letters and cards are a love of mine. Your blog is like being a kid in a candy store that way! So many neat products and ideas.
Xoxoxo

I like the Zebra print and birthday card!!
Stephanie Cox
The print I most relate to is the green turtle. I think it is a look on his face that makes. Me think of myself sometimes. Slow and steady wins the race I keep telling myself. The birthday card I would love to receive it the one with the candle with butterfly’s coming out of the top. It makes me think that birthdays are new beginnings. Like a fresh start to the year.
Barb
I love the ‘slow and steady’ analogy Stephanie. Such a cutie that turtle. I need to adopt your positive approach to Birthdays… 🙂
GwenB
It’s a toss up between the owl as I do love working late into the night…and the b-day card (#407) tree with sweet bird in it is so simply beautiful & cute! (thanks! 🙂 )
Barb
Hey there “Night owl” and yes I love that little bird too…especially its hat! Thanks for playing.
Kathy
I love Lindsey’s pink flamingo card! From Joney’s collection I love the dream catcher birthday card. Great cards! Thanks for sharing these wonderful shops.
Barb
So glad you are sharing my love of these shops Kathy. I really like your choices of cards too. Thanks for stopping in for a visit.
Eva
The critter I identify with is the orange tiger. They are really sweet!
And the best birthday card is the digger. At least it’s the most original.
Thanks again for your giveaway!
Barb
Sweet indeed, Eva! 🙂 I love that gift in the digger too.
Rhonda
Oh, how sweet. I love the Brown Monkey – so innocent looking. And for the birthday cards, the one with the record playing! What memories of when music took a bit more effort than a simple touch of a screen.
E
I love the turtle print. So cute!
The birthday card with the butterflies is beautiful. I love butterflies. Thanks for the giveaways!
Teresa Kaufhold
What cute little critters! I would say I identify with the Pink Cat print from Lindy’s collection and from Joney’s cards, I think I
liked the record playing on the old record player best. I’m “old enough” to have spent a lot of time playing my favorite songs on a record player like that! Thanks again!

Oh the critter that I identify with is the fish because I love the verse when Jesus says, Follow Me, and I WILL make you fishers of men 🙂
I really enjoyed looking through all the fabulous b’day cards…and they are all so unique and full of thought. I like the ‘bike’ one because I am a cyclist 🙂
