Finally, Canada gets a stationery show
For years now I’ve been wishing for a Canadian version of the National Stationery Show (held in New York City) and finally, Canada gets its own stationery show.
Why is this important? Because we here in Canada have some fantastic paper people. The talent is phenomenal and yet sometimes gets overlooked or costs are prohibitive to travel to the NSS.
Plus, I love to brag on the stationery scene here.
Toronto Stationery Show.
This summer you can attend, for free, the Toronto Stationery Show. It is an all day event at the Great Hall on Queen St. W.
I’ve long been friends of Queenie and Andrea of Q & A Letterbox and this is their latest snail mail adventure. The vendor list has not yet been released…coming soon, I’m told.
Other stationery related/letter writing stops you should check out while in Toronto:
- Toronto’s First Post Office
- Monkey’s Paw – home of the biblio-mat vending machine randomly dispensing old books
- The Paper Place
- Wonder Pens – next time I visit this is first on my list to visit
- Toronto Typewriters– pricey but completely refurbished and ready to use.
