So, if you haven’t picked up something for your Mom yet, might I be as daring to suggest that you don’t bother.
Instead, why not give her the gift of your time. Time carved out for her. Of course a little something handwritten doesn’t hurt either.

Probably the only thing I (might) like better than paper is seeing ‘behind-the-scenes’ glimpses of almost anything. Thanks for this fun peek at how a letter-writing social happens and what it looks like. I also love that you relish the mail you receive. I sometimes do the same thing…..do all my ‘have-to’s’ before I get to open that special piece of personal correspondence.

In this morning’s newspaper I read that Mother’s Day started with the idea that we write letters to our mothers. It’s nice to see your efforts to make that happen.
