Now, is this not the best idea ever?!
Thanks to Greetabl the first Friday in June—otherwise known as National Donut Day— you can mail a donut to a friend. Or yourself. No one would be the wiser. I say go for it!
Otherwise here is a list of places that are giving out free donuts today. If you are in Toronto you can get some yummies here .
Do you have a favorite purveyor of donuts? I have to admit that I may just have to pay a visit to Jelly Modern Donuts today to partake in the festivities.

Since I did NOT get a donut (which I adore, although my Italian husband loves even more) on National Donut day (how sad is that?) I’m going to hope my mom sees this and tries to mail me one!!!! That’s such a cute idea!
