Ethan loves getting cards
Like many seven year old boys Ethan Barton loves trucks, lego, hiking, hug time with his family and receiving cards. Ethan’s Birthday is just around the corner, on April the 13th, and his parents are organizing what I’m calling a ‘card party.’
Because Ethan has been diagnosed with Autism, Anxiety, ADHD, DCD (developmental coordination disorder), SPD (sensory processing disorder, and ODD (Oppositional defiance disorder) traditional chaotic, noisy parties just aren’t his thing.
An epic Birthday card party
Here’s a little more back story, as shared by his parents, behind what hopefully turns into a massive Birthday card party:
“Birthdays are a hard time for Ethan, we don’t have a birthday party with other children for him because he couldn’t handle the noise, commotion and to be completely honest we don’t know if anyone would come. Ethan has never been invited to a classmates party or over to anyones house to play so to plan one for him and no one come, there is no way I could break his heart like that.”
Won’t you join me in sending Ethan a card?

I wanted to thank each and everyone of you for helping make Ethan’s birthday so special. I am overwhelmed with the response we are getting and can’t wait to surprise him with all the cards, he still has no idea this is happening. Thank you again so very much.
