Forever stamps
Hope you enjoyed that short clip were illustrator Jessica Hische speaks about the creative process that went into making the “Forever Hearts” stamp. So loopy beautiful and inspiring it is!
Although not exactly the same, you too can create your own stamp using your personal photos.
Why make your own stamps?
Think upcoming wedding season and invitations, baby announcements, next years Christmas cards, make your direct mail campaign (small or large business) stand out, significant birthdays or anniversaries, or just because you can.
Sites where you can make your own stamps:
1) Canada Post
2) For USA stamps: PictureItPostage Zazzle Photo Stamps
3) United Kingdom: Royal Mail
As you can see, I have made a mug-shot stamp (all about me day) for you to see how easy it is. Most of the sites listed have options to specify postage rates internationally, as well as postage for larger-than-standard envelopes.
Have you ever made your own stamps before? What was the occasion and response from those who received your correspondence?
A fabric stamp
P.S. Did you hear that Canada Post unveiled its first ever fabric stamp this past weekend to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Canadian flag? Gotta get me one of those.

You can also do that in Spain. “Correo” is the name of the postal service, and here you have the link: http://www.correos.es/ss/Satellite/site/pagina-tusello_filatelia/sidioma=ca_ES?idiomaWeb=en_GB#resumen-producto
I’ve never ordered this personalized stamps because I find them too expensive. However, I think I would do for my wedding… Alas, this service wasn’t created yet!

Eva, Thank you, thank you for the info on similar service in Spain. When I got married there was special wedding stamps, but not available to personalize. Too bad, would have been amazing on the invites. Talk soon I hope.
