Meet Blissful Paper Co
Some urban skylines are identifiable without a second glance. The delightful card above, by Blissful Paper Co, captures downtown Calgary perfectly. Angie, the creative talent behind this newer paper boutique based in Calgary loves her city and has recently opened up shop sharing her love of calligraphy and stationery and her faith.
3 things to love about Calgary
I asked Angie what are some of her favorite things to do in Calgary. She is loving the coffee culture that is booming in Calgary right now. It is a favorite thing to visit and try out all these new coffee houses and sit down, write and refine her craft.
Angie is an avid hiker, a wanderer and explorer of the beautiful mountains so close by, and recommends that should you ever come to visit, you most definitely need to go for a hike.
And, for a third reason to love Calgary (there are so many) she cited the Letter Writing Socials , hosted by yours truly, as one of her favorite things in Calgary. I’m thrilled to hear this and have loved meeting Angie through these monthly events.
What is your favorite urban skyline?
I wanted you to meet Blissful Paper Co. as I think she is an ‘up-and-coming’ new talent on the paper/stationery scene (remember, you heard it here first). I just love how Angie is using her amazing gifts and coming up with such beautiful paper designs, all the while being a full time student.
With exams done now, Angie is working on a series of urban skyline cards and is looking for suggestions for the collection. I thought we could help her out.
What city would you like to see on one of her cards?
Elaine
Thanks for the introduction, Barb! I look forward to seeing more of her work.
Should Angie decide to expand south of the border – here on the East Coast, USA – I love our Baltimore skyline from the harbor.
Barb
I think Angie is open to any suggestion Elaine, and no doubt will love yours of the Baltimore skyline. I bet it would look stunning on a card.

Hi Barb,
Living in our Nation’s Capital I may be biased, but Ottawa might be a skyline for Angie to consider. With the Parliament Buildings in sight, it is surely one of the most recognizable skylines in Canada, and the fact that it is along the Ottawa River makes it all the more beautiful.

Hi Jenn, So glad you suggested Ottawa as a skyline for Angie’s next card. It would definitely beautiful! Perhaps a summer and winter version with ice skating or paddle boating on the river? 😉
