You Are Here
I am directionally challenged. It’s true. In fact, this is common knowledge among all who know me. While driving, it is very common for me to get lost.
Maybe that’s one of the reasons why I love these cards by You Are Here
Based in Portland, Oregon, Lyn and Stephen, a wife and husband duo, run a printmaking studio where magic happens. They super impose urban icons on vintage maps of that city. Then, my favorite part, the graphic red button ‘You are Here’ is plunked down on the map in the location where you would find the landmark.

See YOUR favorite landmark on a card
As I was exploring these images, I thought that it would be pretty cool to have some Canadian iconic landmarks in the collection. Right?
So, Lyn and Stephen want to hear from you on what suggestions you have for a Canadian landmark* (or other American ones too) you think should go on their next card. Keep reading for more details.
How to submit your suggestion
If you can’t come up with a favorite landmark you still have a chance to win. Just is follow the contest directions below.

* Please note, while we would love to have submissions of global landmarks, the studio already has an ambitious project file and for the time being the landmark suggestion portion of the contest is open only to those found in Canada and the USA.

In Kenosha, our lighthouse is very iconic. It would be great on a card.

For a Canadian landmark, I recommend the Georgian Bay. One of the infamous windblown trees growing out of a rock would be awesome on one of these cards!

Williamsburg, Virginia! It’s not a “city” in the urban sense of the word, but it’s a tourist destination.
