Two questions for you.
A) When was the last time you received a note of thanks?
B) Have you recently sent anyone a note of thanks?
These cards showed up in my mailbox over the holidays and they couldn’t have come at a better time for me personally.
More than just a polite gesture
Sending a note of thanks makes a difference. This practise of gratitude is always a good thing, some would say it’s basic etiquette, but I think it can be more. You must read this heart moving story I posted forever ago to see why it is so much more.
As for me, I was seriously wondering whether I should continue the virtual letter writing socials into 2021.
It was only after I received these notes of thanks that I knew beyond a doubt I had to continue. Thank you Erin and Norma for making this clear to me.
You are invited to join us. Find us writing letters each Wednesday evening 7pm MST/9pm EST on Instagram LIVE.
Who needs thanking in your life? Send a note of thanks and make a difference; maybe more than you will ever know.

We never do, do we? That is just one of the many gifts of snail mail I think. Thank you Norma. Wishes of the same to you too.
Glenda Healy
Love these notes!

Aren’t they great?! I also love that post you wrote all those years ago. Such power in a thank you note. Thank you Glenda!
Roseanne Felago
To answer the first two questions, I recently got a thank-you note for a sympathy card I’d sent, and I’ve sent out thank-you notes for Christmas gifts.
I’m glad the virtual letter writing social is back. I look forward to it, and it’s always fun and interesting.
Barb
Thank you notes abound in your mailbox, Roseanne, coming and going. I’m glad too, and thank you for tuning in so frequently. xoxo

Good for Norma and Erin for putting pen to paper. So many show up each week and that’s a form of thanks or gratitude as well. It may be a small crowd but the scope is wide. I, for one, am grateful for the wed evening gatherings (even tho’ I may not have put pen to paper). 😉
Barb
Melanie, you are such a dear! Always so supportive and encouraging behind-the-scenes which is just as impactful. I am so grateful to you.
