Today is Remembrance Day. We have so much to be thankful for. So much that I take for granted.
These cards by 1Canoe2 are perfect for sending a heartfelt thank-you to someone you know in the military. Perhaps someone you don’t even know.
I was in Washington D.C. a few years ago and paid a visit to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial. I won’t soon forget the overwhelming feeling of sadness and gratitude that came over me as I walked along the path. People come to this wall in search of a name. Some come to leave a letter.
You may enjoy reading about my visit and for ideas as to how you can remember our heroes after November 11th.
I hope, after our poppies have been taken off our jackets, we will still remember those who have fought or who are fighting for our freedom.
Have you ever sent a letter or perhaps a care package to someone serving in wartime?
