Love Lollipops
No time like Valentine’s Day to get out that pen and paper and send a wee bit of love to those dearest to you.
For something a bit different try out these Origami Love Lollipops by the two very creative gals behind Twig and Toadstool.
A completely great way to recycle old calendars or magazines. I love these as an alternative for the kids in the classroom not to mention how lovely a bouquet of these would look on my window sill. Smile.
Junk mail crush
I must say I’m crushing on this V-day wreath made out of junk mail. Yes, that’s right, junk mail! Artist Alisa Burke created this beauty out of nothing.
She provides us with an excellent tutorial on how to make it over at Alisa Burke.
It occurred to me that it would be cool to craft this wreath out of love letters from your sweetie too. Just an idea.
Love dip-dyed
How could you not want to write a letter on this dip-dyed stationery created by The Merry Thought for Poppytalk. So beautiful in its simplicity. Almost too pretty to write on. Almost.
What is your favorite Valentine’s Day candy? Mine are those tiny red cinnamon hearts. They burn your cheeks off. And yet…I reach for more. Love.
P.S For some other ideas to put into play this V-day you may have some fun looking at my post last year around this time “Write Your Heart Out.”

Barb, I am in love with that wreath! It is so pretty. I read your bio and I am a paper and pen girl. I still love writing letters and cards. I have a few older relatives that I correspond with and I cherish that, since everyone my own age… and younger…will only email or text me!
Barb
Hi Kim, so great to meet a kindred spirit who loves putting pen to paper; albeit online. 🙂 Thank you for taking the time to stop in and say ‘hi.’ Isn’t that wreath grand? I loved that it was made from junk mail. Hope to see you again another time.
Winnie
These are super cute!!
We don’t celebrate Valentine’s Day but we do have a similar holiday in a few months. These would be great and unique for us 🙂

Hello there Winnie, so nice of you to pop in for a visit. The tea is actually ready, but I guess will wait until another time. 🙂 Would love to hear more about your similar holiday. Have fun with these fun heart themed beauties.
