win Canada postcard prints
You know that I love to promote Canadian paper people and what better time to do it then on Canada Day weekend. Check out these fabulous Canada themed postcard sized prints by impaper. Stay tuned for how you can win Canada postcard prints to either send in the mail or frame as a print set.
It was a real treat for me to meet Christine Phan, Creative and Executive Director at impaper, at a local market here in Calgary. She shared a bit about the story behind her company.
designed for impact
The ‘im‘ part of company name stands for ‘impact.’ In 2015 Christine decided to combine her passion for design along with her desire to be part of social change and to impact the world around her.
Ever since they opened up shop, the fine folk at impaper have given over 3000 meals, 500 tetanus shots and more, using a portion of the sales generated from their amazing products. This is definitely something I can get behind.

In conversation with Christine, I asked her why impaper decided to go with paper products as their signature range of goods, and here is what she said, ” We chose to do paper products in a digital age because of the personal impact paper products can have. For example, receiving a physical hand written card rather than an e-card is more personalized and adds a special touch!”
I still haven’t decided whether I will frame my postcard set I picked up at the market or if I will mail them out to some special global letter writing friends. What would you do with these beautiful postcards if you won them?
p.s. I noticed that impaper offers free shipping on all Canadian and US orders above $30. Sweet deal!

I love how beautiful Canada is and that all my friends and family are here with me!
Barb
Hi there Kim, so great your reasons for loving our beautiful country. Thanks for leaving a comment.

I’m in the UK but Canada is somewhere I’d love to visit – my niece went there last year for her honeymoon and hasn’t stopped talking about it!!
Barb
Hi there Gill, Sure do hope you get a chance to come to Canada some day. But guess what? The UK is on my wish list of destinations to visit too. Hope you are well my friend.
Joan
I’m going to share this with my sister who is Canadian, married an American and has lived outside of Canada for 35+ years!
what do I love about Canada? Freedom, although there seems to be less of it for some of us, ironically enough, in the attempt to provide freedom for all.
Barb
Love that you are sharing with your sister, love live the memories of her time in Canada! Congrats on winning the pkg of postcard prints Joan. Perhaps you’re sister will be lucky enough to receive one in the mail too? 🙂
Dianne
If I were to win these cards, I’d be tempted to frame them, but I think I’d have to send them out – maybe to a couple of special friends within Canada, though more likely to American and British friends who love Canada for its scenery and its people 🙂 Thanks for bringing attention to this company – I do love the Canada flag rubber stamp too (from impaper or elsewhere?)
Barb
Hi Dianne, Thanks for leaving a comment. I too couldn’t decide whether to frame or send….in fact I still debate. Canadian flag rubber stamp I picked up for a few cents (hit the sale) at my local Micheal’s craft store.I use it often.
Laura
My son in law is from Canada, so one thing I like about Canada is that it gave us him.
Barb
That is absolutely adorable Laura! I just love it. Well, good to know that Canada produces some fine son-in-laws. 🙂
